Level 3 Award & Certificate in Effective Coaching

This qualification is suitable for people who:

  • coach and/or mentor others as part of their day to day role

  • are planning to move into a development role

  • are planning a move into a role as a freelance coach or mentor.

Participants will:

  • gain a critical understanding of coaching and mentoring

  • deepen their understanding of how coaching and mentoring can impact an organisation

  • assess their own skills, knowledge and behaviour as a coach and mentor.

This qualification comprises 3 units:

  1. Understanding good practice in coaching within an organisational context

  2. Undertaking coaching within an organisational context

  3. Reflecting on coaching skills within an organisational context.

We will deliver this as 3 training days which will be held in the Bristol/Bath area on dates to be confirmed. The cost is £1,100 + plus venue costs of approx. £50 per day. Price includes registration with the ILM, tuition, observation of coaching practice, supervision, support with assignment tasks and course handouts. Delegates will need to purchase a Course Textbook.

In order to gain the Award, participants will need to undertake 6 hours of coaching with a maximum of 2 people. An additional 6 hours of coaching are required in order to gain the certificate and an additional £40 for increased ILM registration fee. If you wish to gain a Level 3 qualification you will need to write one assignment and submit a portfolio of evidence and a reflective journal. In addition you will have to provide evidence of 6-12 hours of coaching practice.
